Why Practice Yoga in the Nude?


Yoga is about connecting your mind, body, and breath... but practicing nude takes that connection even further. Without clothing, your body can move freely, unrestricted, allowing you to flow into poses naturally and fully experience your range of motion.

The first time I practiced nude yoga, I was both nervous and exhilirated. I am not exactly one to follow the status quo, as you can probably tell...

Standing on the mat without clothing, I immediately felt a sense of freedom and lightness and possibility. Why fit into a box when you were born to stand out? 

Every movement felt more natural, every stretch felt deeper, and for the first time, I noticed how much my body wanted to move without restriction. And as an extra added bonus? It tapped into my divine feminine energy!

Warning: self-consciousness may melt away as you bask in awe as your body is able to take you from pose to pose gracefully,  and without restriction. 

Nude yoga fosters body awareness, self-acceptance, and confidence. Shedding clothing is representative of shedding self-consciousness and judgment, creating a safe, liberating space where you can focus completely on your practice.
